Studs come in all types and prices but it often false economy to use a cheap male over your valuable female. With the high cost of quality studs most owners of a small number of females will forego the expense of purchasing stud male and will use outside stud services. Females can be taken to the studs farm to be serviced and then monitored on site till pregnancy has been confirmed. But another option we prefer and is available locally is a mobile mating service, with this the male visits your property, the advantage is your girls and their cria stay at home and you can enjoy watching them grow up (and very quickly I might add)
