Why Alpacas?

We first saw alpacas at the Mystery Creek Fieldays, and haven't looked back since! 

Those beautiful brown eyes looking back at me – that wonderful fibre – so soft to the touch!

Not only do they have fantastic fibre, they are such a pleasure to own and are extremely easy care animals ideally suited for lifestyle blocks.  They can also be a great investment if you wish to set up a breeding herd of quality females.  Read more about us and the services we can offer.

We breed Quality Huacaya alpacas using the best genetics we can source, specializing in coloured animals (which includes white and we are ”working” towards some black animals). Christine as a keen spinner and felter and can see the potential of a fibre that comes in so many different natural colours with no need for chemical dyeing. 

We have pregnant females, and halter trained youngsters – both male and female for sale.  View our Sales list of Alpacas for Sale .   In addition we have a range alpaca fibre for sale from our own herd. 

Our alpaca numbers are slowly but surely increasing as we build up our breeding herd and on our 18 acre property we still have room to offer Agistment for animals if needed for our clients – should your own property still not be fully developed or fenced.
